THE FUTURE IS IN YOUR HANDS, ARE YOU READY?

About Andrea

I was born in Calgary to young parents navigating economic uncertainty, which meant I learned resilience early. Life wasn’t always easy, but those challenges shaped me into someone who thrives under pressure and adapts quickly. Whether it was juggling multiple jobs, putting myself through school, or facing personal setbacks, I refused to let obstacles define me. Instead, they fueled my determination to build a better future—not just for myself, but for others.

Before joining the public service, I spent seven years volunteering with at-risk youth, helping them find stability and opportunity in a world that often overlooked them. Later, I worked as a tax consultant for Alberta farmers, making sense of complex regulations to help hardworking families keep more of what they earned. Eventually, I took that passion for problem-solving into government, starting on the front lines of service and working my way into leadership. I've managed teams, led digital transformation projects, and pushed for smarter, more efficient government systems that actually serve Canadians.

Now, I’m running for office because I know we can do better. Our government was built for another era, and it's struggling to keep up with the needs of Canadians today. We need a system that embraces technology, cuts unnecessary bureaucracy, and delivers services that are intuitive, accessible, and efficient. I want to help make that happen.

Outside of politics, I'm a proud mom of three teenagers who keep me on my toes. I spent eight years navigating single parenthood in Ottawa, so I know a thing or two about perseverance (and making a dollar stretch!). When I'm not working, you can find me Latin dancing, belting out karaoke, tending to my garden, or dabbling in other creative arts. Life is too short not to enjoy it, and I bring that same energy to everything I do—including this campaign.
